TRANSPORTATION
The Trang Province is a relatively new Tourist destination and guests can encounter some
inconveniences and some delays during the transfer trip, however our staff will do their best
to make your transfer as smooth as possible.

| Guests can fly directly from Bangkok Airport to Trang Airport one flight a day with the exception of Friday, |
| Saturday and sunday,those days offering an additional late evening flight. |
| See our flight schedule timetable. From the airport the bus will take about 45 minutes to reach the Kuantungku |
| pier and then a longtail boat for 40 minutes to Koh Mook. |
| Alternatively one can fly from Bangkok airport to Krabi airport (two flights a day) and our bus will transfer guests |
| (approximately one hour) to Kuan Tungku Pier and then another 40 minutes by longtail boat to Koh Mook. |
| Some guests might prefer a night train from Bangkok railway station to Trang town or an air-conditioned bus from |
| the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok to Trang town from where our bus will transfer guests to Kuan Tungku pier to |
| board a longtail boat to Koh Mook . |
| A chartered speedboat or the Silver Princess motor yacht from PP Island is also a convenient way of transfer and |
| if guests stay on Koh Lanta, it is easy to charter a speedboat or longtail boat to Koh Mook. |

How safe is it to travel to Koh Mook ?
Flights from Bangkok to Trang or Krabi is by
Boeing 734. Koh Mook is approximately 7 miles
from the mainland. A longtail boat ride from Kuan
Tungku pier to Koh Mook takes 30-40 minutes. It
sails in the protected inner sea between Koh Mook and the mainland. The boat is equipped with life-
jackets for all passengers. On very rare occasions
guests may have to wait one or two hours for the tide. |

| How is the security on Koh Mook ? |
| Koh Mook is a small fishing village. The general population on the island is Thai Muslim and they are a very |
| humble and peace-loving people. Crime on the island is extremely rare. |

| Koh Mook has a small Health Center with certified nurses. If the problem is serious, guests can charter a |
| longtail boat to Kuan Tungku pier and a bus to the hospital in Kantang District. It takes altogether approximately |

Q. What is the different between Super Beach Front and Sea View Bungalow/Suites ?
A. Super Beach Front is the first row Bungalows to the beach, absolutely the best location, whilst Sea-View Bungalows are the second row back from beach front.
Q. What is the different betweem Sea View Suites and Sea View Bungalow ?
A. The Sea View Bungalows are located just the second row behind the Super Beach Front Bungalow, and have large balcony, all same amentities and facility as the Super Beach Front Bungalows, the Sea View Suites are located the first row to the beach, but in the low-rise building of twelve room suites, with a unique large balinese style bathroom, and large terrace facing to the Andaman Sea.
Q. How do I get from Trang Airport to the Resort ?
A. It is very easy, just take the airport Limousine to our Sales Office in Trang ( in front of Railways Station ), there many joint mini van to Pak Meng Pier, leaves at 09.30 am. Or you can request the private ( chartered ) mini van direct from Trang Airport to Pak Meng Pier . Just inform our staff whenever you make reservation.
Q. Why this lovely island has two names, Koh Ngai and Koh Hai, and which name is official name ?
A. The Official name is Koh Ngai, but the local people of Trang calls it Koh Hai, because Koh Ngai or Koh Hai is the same Island, but locate on both Lanta Archipelago and Trang Archipelago. It is easy to excess from Trang's Pak Meng Pier all year round, but from Lanta Island the ferry route operates only on high season period. |
